Conicio was entrusted by the technological start-up Kap Code with the design and technical development of this first community solution devoted to asthma. Our team of industrial designers and engineers carried out a feasibility study and produced a dozen functional prototypes that enabled the implementation of the initial user tests. The devices allows any type of inhaler available on the market to be turned into a smart object in order to improve control of asthma and respiratory illnesses. It collects all the information concerning the inhaler’s use (number of treatments taken, location where taken, environmental data) and returns them in the form of statistics via the smartphone and Web app in order to improve users’ daily lives.
