The FCC6 First Class Controller produced and distributed by Bauer Compressor is the new control console that allows pressure profiles from 5 to 400 bars to be regulated. This equipment is used in the gas-assisted plastic injection process. During manufacturing of polymer parts, the material is injected into a mould in a molten state then nitrogen is blown into it in order to create a hollow body and maintain a constant pressure in the part during cooling.
Conicio was entrusted with producing the industrial design and the mechanical design of the console, thus ensuring continuity with the new Mini Verticus and Verticus range of high-pressure compressors from Bauer Compressor. Thanks to its network of industrial partners, Conicio’s team was able to produce and deliver an industrialisable version of the FCC6 console to its customer.
